WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE!

NWA Martial Arts Academy is a family owned martial arts studio, focused on the Korean martial art style Tang Soo Do, Self-Defense, and Sport Karate tournament training.  We pride ourselves on being an energetic, welcoming, family-oriented martial arts studio. Our studio is the realization of Master Michael Felix's lifelong goal to have his own studio grounded in positive mental attitude, inclusivity, and fun.

 

At NWA Martial Arts Academy, we begin with a foundation in the practice of the martial art of Tang Soo Do with an emphasis on discipline, focus, and commitment to a goal.  In our dojang, we are all guided by these key principals:

 

Yong Gi- Courage

Chung Shin Tang Il – Concentration

In Neh – Endurance

Chung Jik- Honesty

Kyum Son- Humility

Him Cho Chung – Control of Power

Shin Chook – Tension and Relaxation

Wan Gup – Speed Control

Our lead instructor and co-owner Master Michael Felix is a 5th-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do.  With 25 years of experience, Michael Felix, and his staff, instruct our students with a motivational and professional approach designed to inspire our athletes.

 

NWA Martial Arts Academy offers training from a white belt thru fourth-degree black belt.  We teach the traditional elements of Tang Soo Do as well as Self Defense, Sparring, and Creative/Extreme martial arts.  We also have a competitive martial arts team that travels throughout the year, both regionally and nationally.  We are very proud to be the home studio to multiple Regionally and Nationally ranked athletes.
