At NWA Martial Arts Academy, we help students build confidence, discipline, focus, and respect through the traditional Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do.
Founded by Master Michael Felix, our family-owned academy provides a welcoming, family-friendly environment where students are challenged, encouraged, and supported every step of the way.
With over 25 years of martial arts experience, Master Felix and our coaching team teach much more than kicks and punches. Students develop valuable life skills while learning self-defense, sparring, traditional forms, and sport karate.
Whether your child is stepping onto the mats for the very first time or dreams of competing at the highest levels, our programs are designed to help them grow both on and off the mats.

ABOUT US
Master Michael Felix is the Founder, Owner, and Chief Instructor of NWA Martial Arts Academy.
A Fifth Degree Black Belt and certified Master Instructor, he has more than 25 years of martial arts experience and over two decades of professional teaching and coaching experience.
Growing up with severe ADHD, martial arts gave Master Felix an outlet while teaching him focus, discipline, confidence, and perseverance. Those lessons continue to drive his passion for helping students discover what they are capable of both on and off the mats.
Master Felix founded NWA Martial Arts Academy following the pandemic alongside a dedicated group of students and parents looking for a place to continue training together. Today, he is also a decorated coach who has trained athletes competing at the regional, national, and world level, including NASKA World Champions.
His mission is simple: use martial arts to develop confident, disciplined, resilient people, not just great martial artists.
